Ok so I have had a six pack for a while, whether its because I have a high metabolism, I'm young, or whatever, but now I'm trying to get the an 8-pack. Are there any tips, specific food items I should/shouldn't eat, or exercise routines that you suggest I follow or know about?

As far as workout is concerned start doing Full Squats, Deadlifts, Chin ups, and Dips. You use your abdominal muscles more on all those exercises more than on a sit up. Try this out for fat loss and abdominal activation.
A1 Full Squat 4sets 8-10 reps 45seconds rest
A2 Dips 4 sets of 6-8 reps 45 seconds rest
A3 Glute Ham Raise 4 sets of 6-8 reps 45 seconds rest
A4 Chin ups 4 sets of 6-8 reps 45 seconds rest
Do every rep at a 4010 tempo meaning Down in 4 seconds and up in 1 second. do not do this workout more than 6 times.
