Skin is one of the detox pathways. Skin can rash if liver is stressed. Liver is Major Filter that cleans the blood. Leaky Gut or dysbiotic gut (I assume you have b/c of anti-fungal meds) often will have elevated yeast and the uneven or elevated aerobic bacteria and the bacteria's waste product (poo) burdens the liver and kidneys even more! All this stress of the detox systems starts to put extra burden on the skin. #1 -check D3 status. #2-Avoid all foods that make you inflame. MRT is a must. Dairy is very Pro-Flammatory. #3-Omega 3 6:1 fish oil @ 30 grams a day for 8 days. #4- CDSA lab to look for pathogens and leaky gut test with SigA (Measures the immune system). #5-FIX THE GUT.....21-day protocol.
I'm enduring a flare up of seborrheic dermatitis. Almost 2 weeks ago I quit using Rx (nystatin) because it was losing its effectiveness and I'd like to stay away from other prescriptions. I quit dairy the same time I stopped the Rx, and am hoping that will have a positive effect. Also taking a bunch of supplements, including fish oil and zinc. Do you have any other suggestions?
