Who’s protecting you?

What is our first line of defense to protect us from illness? STOMACH ACID

Problem is we are being bamboozled by the “Purple Pill” aka Nexium, Prevacid, Prilosec. . .the list goes on.  These are all classified as pump inhibitors and do a wonderful job of neutralizing stomach acid.  Which is exactly what YOU DO NOT WANT!  The opposite is what you need.

It is like driving a car blind folded; fun for a while (because it’s crazy and reckless) until you smash head first into a brick wall.  Eating anything in site without appropriate stomach acid levels is fun until heartburn, diarrhea, bloating, gas, food poisoning, depression, inflammation, joint pain, arthritis (. . .OMG I can go on forever) hit you like a brick wall.

Low stomach acid leads to mal-absorption, leading to malnutrition, leading to DISEASE.  Appropriate amounts of stomach acid will kill most of the bacteria and parasites that contaminate our food.

First line of defense, do the HCl test and take the blind fold off.
Life is exhilarating when you can see what’s coming and get out of the way hence eating can be fun again.

Yes, it really is that simple!  Take off the blindfold - Email me and get the HCl test, it’s a $15 test.  If you are taking other supplements without doing this test first – YOU ARE MISINFORMED.

BioTransformation Class at Next Level - Crazy?

I'm pretty sure Jrod went crazy. . .he is doing a 3 week, twice a day BioTransformation class during the holidays and after having a baby 3 weeks ago.  Really??  Who does that?  I mean isn't your life hectic enough?  Don't you want some down time?

Jrod is CRAZY for results and that's why he is doing it!  I mean really who schedules tough work-outs like this around Christmas & New Years?  Someone that knows people need motivating to get on track and stay on track.  Why wait till after New Year's to get in shape?  Why wait till you have "the time" or "the inclination" to get in great shape when you can get it started now.

That's what true Health Nuts do - they stay on the bandwagon during busy times, during holiday times.  There will always be a reason to party, drink and eat bad, so get over it and get on with being healthy.

Excuses are a luxury for people who don't make their health a priority.
The group in this class took a stand and decided to get on the bandwagon and get in better shape than they are now.

In fact, they love it so much they are going to tell you what they have learned and share the Joy of a healhty Christmas.

What Do You Want?

I saw a poster of a women and it said “I don’t have a clue what I want but it won’t be happy until I get it.”  Now right off the bat, this is not just a women’s mentality, I see this in the majority of people who come to the gym.  So my point is that if you don’t know what you want, and expect to get something (that you don’t know if you’re training for or not) you will never be satisfied with the gym. Ever wonder why people hate going to the gym, well it’s because they don’t get what they want!

Step 1: Define what you want.

Step 2: Make sure what you are doing in the gym will give you what you want.

Step 3: Become consistent and work hard.

Easier said than done, and that’s where I can help.  Ask me and I can help you put what you want into words.  I can then direct you to an appropriate class that is doing things that are in line with your goals.  If none of the classes fit your specific goals I can make a program for you to meet them.  Alright here is where the problems start happening time and time again; become consistent and work hard.  There is nothing I can do to help keep you consistent.  You must hold yourself accountable.  Check out these two blogs that I wrote on goals setting and working hard.

Casey McCarty, current fan and former skeptic blogs about Next Level

Casey has been heavily into health and fitness for years.  He stays in good shape and always investigates something before he is willing to dive in and try it.  This is a great quality to have and we love having Casey at the gym asking questions, trying new things and getting AWESOME results!  He is a skeptic about training, supplements and advice and seems to be satisfied with the great information and knowledge he gets from Jrod & Tatum at Next Level.

Check out his blog to find out just what he does like about Next Level. . . .
